Chief Compliance Officer
Our client is a growing organization in the dental space looking to bring on a new Chief Compliance Officer to manage the companywide compliance program.
Position Summary:
Healthcare compliance professionals play a crucial role in helping clinical facilities and organizations navigate the increasing number of government regulations surrounding patient privacy, quality care, fraud prevention, and staff protection in dental healthcare settings.
A Regulatory Compliance Manager must strike a balance between promoting compliance and avoiding the perception of being a hindrance. This requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities, along with the creativity to develop solutions that align with both regulatory demands and business goals.
The Regulatory Compliance Manager oversees the daily operations of the organization's compliance program. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance and privacy policies are aligned with current regulations and industry standards, working closely with department managers to implement these policies effectively across all business areas.
- Partner with leaders to conduct compliance investigations and keep senior management and stakeholders informed of findings.
Ideal candidates should be solution-oriented problem solvers with:
- 5 years of experience leading healthcare compliance programs preferred.
- Proven success in collaborating with administrative and clinical leadership on compliance matters such as investigations, policy development, and initiatives.
- The ability to independently identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
- Experience developing and managing control systems to address legal and policy violations.
- Continuously evaluating and improving the effectiveness of control systems.
- Regularly revising procedures and reports to uncover risks or non-compliance issues.
- Drafting, modifying, and implementing company policies.
- Working with corporate counsel and HR to monitor the enforcement of regulations and standards.
- Assessing new business ventures for potential compliance risks.
- Reviewing colleagues’ work to spot compliance issues and offer training or advice.
- Staying current with regulatory changes and best practices in compliance management.
- Preparing reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies when needed.
- Experience as a Regulatory Risk Officer, with strong knowledge of medical industry regulations.
- Expertise in reporting and record-keeping procedures, with a strong commitment to legal compliance.
- Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, with a business mindset.
- A Certified Risk Management Professional is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Proven ability to advise management on compliance issues and develop practical solutions to facilitate risk management.
The role also emphasizes the need to continuously update regulations and standards in response to an evolving regulatory environment. Experience in public policy, strategic management, and a flexible, innovative work style are key attributes.

Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
