Client Service Manager

The Client Service Team Lead is a key role within our firm, acting as the central connection across teams. This individual will support our vision, foster a positive culture, and ensure team collaboration and client success. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the Client Service Team Lead will manage client service operations, team engagement, and project management, with a focus on developing skills in areas like human resources, compliance, and technology.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work independently, and excel in communication, time management, and multitasking. High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service Operations

• Oversee client service and operations, acting as a liaison with custodians and third-party vendors.
• Ensure teams are prepared for client meetings and assist with client onboarding.
• Maintain compliance standards and support fee billing and audit processes.

Team Engagement

• Promote a positive team culture and drive change by effectively communicating its benefits.
• Facilitate team meetings and hold one-on-ones with direct reports.

Human Capital

• Ensure new hires are trained for quick productivity.
• Manage the hiring process and paperwork for new team members.

Technology

• Ensure effective use of firm technology and oversee vendor relationships.
• Focus on streamlining operations through technology enhancements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Series 7/65 license and FPQP® certification preferred.
• 6 years in client services/operations in financial advisory, with leadership experience.
• Familiarity with financial planning applications and custodial platforms preferred.

Skills:

• Expertise in client service and financial services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing environments.
