Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate transactions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, and closing binders to assist with commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchases, sales, and financing.
- Coordinate title matters with title insurance companies and law firms from pre-closing to post-closing stages.
- Oversee and manage due diligence for sales, acquisitions, and commercial loans.
- Assist with commercial landlord-tenant issues.
- Conduct local governmental inquiries and lien searches.
- Form legal entities related to real estate acquisitions.
- Establish and organize files, monitor deadlines, and input information into file databases.
- Prepare summaries of key terms and critical dates for real property acquisitions.
- Assist attorneys in drafting leases, contracts, and correspondence.
- Coordinate discovery responses with outside counsel.
- Manage litigation calendars for mediations, discovery, and court hearings.
- Administer third-party claims, including initial review, internal communications, and coordination with insurers.
- Process invoices for outside counsel fees and litigation costs.
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, mailing, filing, and more.
