A well-established and growing real estate advisory and investment firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Controller with 8 years of relevant experience. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment and is excited about the opportunity to help build out fund infrastructure and support future capital-raising efforts.
Start Date: ASAP – ideally by Monday, 4/28
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- 4 days onsite required, 1 day work from home

This real estate investment firm has been around for over 20 years and operates with a tight-knit team of 10–11 professionals. The environment is positive, supportive, and collaborative, with many long-tenured team members. The firm is preparing to launch its first fund and is looking for someone who can grow alongside them.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all accounting operations
- Maintain accurate financials using QuickBooks
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors (audit and extensions already completed)
- Step into a well-documented role for a smooth transition
- Support a small accounting team (Senior Accountant currently on leave; Accounting Ops Specialist onsite)
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including potential fund development
Top Qualifications:
- 8 years of real estate accounting experience (commercial or residential)
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Able to commit to at least 4 days onsite weekly
