IT & Data Reporting Analyst – Healthcare
We’re looking for a data-driven IT & Data Reporting Analyst to join our team in the Bronx, NY on a permanent basis. This role focuses on IT and financial projects related to healthcare data, specifically membership and claims data. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT, finance, and data analytics, with experience handling large healthcare-related datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and organize large healthcare datasets (30k-50k line items) for reporting.
- Work with 834 and 837 reports and manage data files within Health Catalyst.
- Compare raw data against baseline data to identify trends and variances.
- Leverage Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), Tableau, SQL, and Python for data analysis.
- Generate and support financial reports related to healthcare memberships, claims, and metrics.
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain data integrity and reporting tools.
- Support IT projects, troubleshoot data issues, and enhance data processes.
- Prepare and present reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong data analytics experience, including raw data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Healthcare industry background, with expertise in 834/837 reports and claims data.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and Tableau for visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Understanding of healthcare membership and claims data.
- Experience in finance or financial project work, analyzing variances and metrics.
- Ability to manage large datasets and big data files.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and anomalies.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
