Family Law Attorney

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a regional law firm client that is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney for their office located in Rock Hill, SC.

Qualifications:

• Active membership and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar
• At least 4 years of experience in a family law practice.
• Strong understanding of local rules and their application in family law matters.
• Capable of handling cases independently while managing a client portfolio.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in emotionally charged and high-pressure situations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while demonstrating compassion and understanding towards clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer expert legal counsel to family law clients during hearings, settlement discussions, and mediation sessions.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare legal documents and pleadings, perform research, and manage discovery processes.
