What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate position at Ascendo Resources?
Looking for a Senior Associate to join our Financial Due Diligence team within our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. In this dynamic role, you will work with our nationally award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory practice servicing both corporate and private equity clients. Our wholistic M&A group services include assisting our clients with readiness and diligence services pre-close all the way through transaction integration and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Performs financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring and divesting businesses
- Participates in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis
- Prepares detailed financial and analytical analyses to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements
- Uses various software tools as designated by the firm
- Represents the firm in community activities and professional associations
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, ideally with a major in accounting or finance preferred.
- 2 years of experience, preferably within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- CPA certification preferred but not required
