Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Salary Range : $60,000 - $85,000 Annually

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager – Heavy Haul to oversee and optimize transportation operations for oversized and specialized freight. This role requires hands-on project management, coordination with internal teams and external carriers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Director of Heavy Haul , this position plays a key role in executing transportation strategies, streamlining operations, and ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
Operational Management : Oversee end-to-end logistics for heavy haul shipments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Load Planning & Dispatch : Strategically schedule and assign loads to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs.
Customer & Carrier Relations : Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and trucking partners to ensure seamless operations.
Shipment Coordination : Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates and proactively addressing any challenges.
Compliance & Regulations : Ensure full adherence to DOT regulations, permits, and safety standards for oversized loads.
Process Optimization : Continuously refine logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
Problem-Solving : Quickly identify and resolve transportation issues to maintain operational flow and client satisfaction.
System & Data Management : Maintain accurate records in transportation management systems and reporting tools.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations with a strong understanding of heavy haul transport.
- Proficiency in DOT regulations, multi-state routes, and over-dimensional freight requirements .
- Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft Office, AS400, Monday Software, and Fleetup .
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience in pricing, quoting, and customer service .
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Background
Education : High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is a plus.
Experience : At least 5 years in dispatch operations with direct driver coordination; heavy haul and permitting expertise preferred.
