Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, development, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including creative, content, analytics, and development teams, to deliver high-impact email marketing programs.
- Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to design, implement, and track email marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet performance goals and drive ROI.
- Apply SQL to analyze customer data, build email lists, segment audiences, and generate reports on campaign performance and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define email marketing strategies, KPIs, and success metrics, while continuously optimizing campaign performance through A/B testing, targeting, and segmentation.
- Monitor email deliverability, inbox placement, and customer engagement, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new tools, bringing innovation to the team and continuously improving email marketing strategies.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for any issues related to campaign execution, email rendering, or data discrepancies.
- Evaluate all email campaigns for compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy policies, and best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in email marketing with a proven track record of successful program management.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong understanding of its capabilities for email campaign creation, automation, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL , with the ability to write queries for audience segmentation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, engagement metrics, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and optimizing customer journeys.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design and rendering issues is a plus.
- Experience with other marketing automation platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms is a plus.
- Experience in B2B or B2C environments is preferred.
