We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Post Closer to join a growing team in Miami. The Post Closer will be responsible for finalizing and ensuring the accuracy of mortgage loan documentation after the loan closing process. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage lending, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Thoroughly examine all closing documents for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with title companies, attorneys, and other involved parties to resolve any discrepancies or missing information in the loan documents.
- Maintain and organize loan files, ensuring all necessary documents are included and properly filed for future reference.
- Conduct quality control checks on loan files to identify and rectify errors before submitting them to investors or government agencies.
- Ensure all post-closing activities adhere to industry standards, federal and state regulations, and company guidelines.
- Prepare and deliver loan packages to investors, including the preparation of shipping and tracking documentation.
- Provide clear and effective communication with internal teams, including underwriters, loan processors, and loan officers, to ensure a seamless post-closing process.
- Generate and maintain post-closing reports, tracking the status of loan files and ensuring timely completion of all post-closing tasks.
