Purchasing representative
Responsibilities
- Manage the cycle and emergency stock orders process from requisition of purchase order to delivery to vessels and land-based spas.
- Manage vendor performance by P.O.
- Manage the sourcing of out-of-stock items and substitution options upon request from the Manager.
- Update Purchase and Transfer Orders in Epicor to reflect short shipments from vendors and warehouse.
- Communicate stock delivery notifications to all vessels.
- Sourcing projects as designated by the Manager.
- Communicate with spa managers to resolve all open P.O.’s within the smart system.
- Timely review Past Due Report received from warehouse and update with required information.
- Work closely with the Inventory Manager in assisting in quarterly review and clarification of all P.O.’s.
- Receives guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned, determine methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge / skill.
- Other duties as assigned.
