Quant Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Quantitative Research Analyst with a strong programming foundation and a passion for financial markets.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing quantitative models for investment and portfolio management, leveraging historical data and advanced analytical techniques to drive strategic investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth quantitative research on historical stock data, macroeconomic indicators, and market variables to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop, test, and implement quantitative models to enhance portfolio construction and risk management strategies.
• Develop and maintain data-driven tools and dashboards to support portfolio management and trading decisions.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to integrate quantitative insights into the investment process.

Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in quantitative research, data analysis, or financial modeling, preferably within investment management firms. (internships will be taken into consideration)
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or C .
• Experience with financial data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, CRSP, Compustat) and working with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.
• Background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative field; candidates with degrees in Finance or Economics with a specialization in quantitative analysis and programming are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish and English
