We’re searching for a Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations and inspire our team to deliver outstanding service every day.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will :
- Supervise department staff and work with Human Resources, Department Director and Department VP to ensure staffing decisions and actions are consistent with organizational goals.
- Complete scheduling and payroll for the restaurant on a timely basis.
- Keep current on restaurant policies and procedures and provide timely updates to staff.
- Forecast, prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Plan menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus as needed to keep fresh and interesting.
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate the best price structure
- Assist other Food and Beverage Departments as needed.
- Recommend business development strategies by keeping current with restaurant industry trends and participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
- Strategize with the marketing and external affairs departments to ensure the development and execution of marketing activity to create an external presence in the community.
- Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement, monitoring food presentation and service.
We’re seeking a proactive, results-oriented professional with :
5-7 years of experience as a Manager in a full-service restaurant
