Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 years of financial accounting experience (balance sheet, debits/credits, financial reporting).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in nonprofit or healthcare industries.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct.
- Skills in data analytics and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expense Allocation:
- Analyze and allocate expenses across various programs and funding sources.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Financial Analysis & Forecasting:
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Develop forecasts to aid in budget planning.
- Report Preparation:
- Generate detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with grant guidelines in all reports.
- Grant Management:
- Prepare and submit claims to funding agencies.
- Verify accuracy of expenses and resolve discrepancies.
- Excel Utilization:
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets for expense tracking and reporting.
- Organize data for reporting and analysis.
- Audit & Compliance:
- Support audit processes by ensuring financial records meet required standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all financial activities.
