Job Description: Uniform Commercial Codes (UCC) Data/Compliance Analyst

(must have experience filing UCCs)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Type: 30hrs-40hrs/week

Pay: $25/hr

Overview:

A telecommunications company seeks a UCC Data/Compliance Analyst to assist with a critical project involving Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings for approximately 1,800 dealerships nationwide. This role requires an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex compliance processes across multiple states.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and ensure compliance with UCC filing requirements for dealerships across all states.
• Research and track state-specific UCC regulations, renewal timelines, and compliance needs.
• Monitor and renew UCC filings at risk of expiration using state websites and internal reports.
• Manage large datasets in Excel, including filtering and organizing data points for proper documentation.
• Work with NetSuite reports to identify high-risk areas and expiring UCCs.
• Connect and reconcile dealership data to identify patterns and group filings appropriately.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for efficient project execution.
• Document amendments and maintain accurate UCC filing records.
• Address potential risks related to dealership bankruptcies and ensure proper filings to mitigate liability.

Qualifications:

• Background in credit, collections, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to see projects holistically.
• Proficiency in basic Excel functions (filters, data organization).
• Familiarity with UCC processes or compliance preferred but not required.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently on a tedious, detail-driven project.
