Job Title : Medical Assistant (Floater)
Location : Port St. Lucie, FL and Vero Beach
Schedule : 3 (12-hour) shifts per week, including weekends 8am-8pm
Compensation : $18 / hour
Job Description :
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) and prepare laboratory samples for testing.
- Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical history.
- Support clinical procedures and ensure proper documentation in patient records.
- Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage medical supplies.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive experience.
