Description : POSITION SUMMARY :
The Warranty Clerk plays a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping and seamless support for the warranty claims team. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration to maintain up-to-date and well-organized documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Gain a thorough understanding of OEM equipment warranty policies and accurately quote extended warranties for sales.
- Review monthly sales documentation and ensure proper enrollment in relevant warranty programs, including standard warranty, engine warranty, extended warranty, telematics, and machine monitoring programs.
- Document lease returns and update warranty and telematics systems as needed to reflect changes in ownership.
- Serve as a resource for the sales and service teams by providing expertise on various warranty coverages.
- Collaborate effectively within the warranty department to support the claims team.
- Maintain organized records and spreadsheets related to warranty processes.
- Enter and update applicable warranty coverage details in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Manage warranty part returns and track core components for return processing.
- Assist with tracking and documenting receipt of arrival, delivery, and inspections of equipment within multiple regions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
