We are an established, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR, SEED & Sew certified early education program in Shelburne that currently serves 55 children. We promote anti-bias education, ensuring we honor and value each child, their family, and each staff member.
Are you an educator who values child-led, play-based learning? We implement an emergent curriculum, where teachers use observation and assessment to offer a variety of child-led, play-based experiences for all children in our program.
Do you value diversity, equity, and inclusion? We value and integrate anti-bias education into our every day rhythms. We honor and celebrate each child, each family, and each staff member.
Do you want to join a staff of life-long learners, committed to offering high quality education and interactions? We foster a supportive, collaborative, and fun work environment for all staff.
Duties
Teacher will provide nurturing care, compassionate social/emotional coaching, a variety of learning opportunities, and guidance to our older infants. This Educator will work as a team with one of our seasoned Infant Teachers.
Infant Educators take care of our tiniest friends, which requires extra care and softness. Care for young babies is individualized, and therefore requires educators to be flexible, to be able to multitask, and to keep calm in moments of unrest. Infant Educators work closely with families to meet the needs of each child.
