We are proud to partner with an Am Law 200 firm in its search for 3rd to 8th year associates to join its growing and dynamic Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department.

The ideal candidate will have previous bankruptcy experience in a law firm and be comfortable handling substantive court appearances. The associate will represent creditors' committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in bankruptcy matters, working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative legal team.

• Represent clients in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Handle substantive court appearances, including bankruptcy proceedings
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on strategic case development
• Represent a variety of clients including creditors' committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and related legal documents
• Engage in negotiations and restructuring transactions

3rd – 8th year associate with experience in bankruptcy law
Top academic credentials and a strong analytical mindset
Excellent client-relations skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Prior experience in a law firm setting handling bankruptcy-related matters
Licensed to practice law in the state of their resident and/or affiliated office (NY, NJ, or CT)
