Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a seasoned Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in federal and state court. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team handling high-stakes litigation cases for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other high-value cases.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, from initial case assessment and strategy development to discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
- Maintain excellent client communication and provide updates on case progress.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with demonstrated success in federal and state courts.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload with competing deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster client relationships and collaborate with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
