We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to join a fast-paced and dynamic litigation team located in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in complex commercial litigation matters and be able to manage a high-volume caseload with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- File documents in both state and federal courts, including proficiency in electronic filing systems (e-filing)
- Manage attorney calendars, including court deadlines, depositions, and client meetings
- Coordinate and schedule hearings, mediations, and trials
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
- Assist with trial preparation including trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness coordination
- Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings as needed
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other third parties
- Track billable time in compliance with firm and client requirements

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in commercial litigation
- Must have experience with state and federal court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and court e-filing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude
