Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is proud to partner with a premier financial services company based in Miami, FL to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager. This in-house role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative legal team supporting the company's sophisticated financial operations and client relationships.
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal acumen, excellent organizational skills, and experience working within the financial services industry or a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, client engagement letters, NDAs, consulting and service agreements, and SLAs

Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

Maintain contract databases, monitor deadlines and renewals, and ensure contract obligations are met

Collaborate with legal, finance, compliance, operations, and procurement teams to align contracts with company goals and risk management protocols

Proactively identify contract risks and recommend strategies for resolution

Assist in the development and refinement of standard contract templates, approval workflows, and internal processes

Support audits, internal reporting, and due diligence requests related to contract data and compliance
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate or J.D. preferred

4 years of contracts management experience, preferably in-house within financial services or legal environments

Strong working knowledge of legal terms, commercial agreements, and regulatory risk

Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage priorities under pressure

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CLM software is a plus
