Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Federal Tax Attorney for its client's New York office.
Ideal Candidate:
- You are a high performer with 1 - 3 years of significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and other strategic transactions.
- You have experience in a broad-based federal transactional tax practice, including handling matters such as the following:
- domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures and strategic alliances; private equity and hedge funds
- real estate and REIT taxation
- complex capital markets transactions, including structured notes
- bankruptcy and workouts
- structured finance and securitization
- leasing, lending, and project finance
- You have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- You have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and an action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.
- You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing.
