Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is a seeking a Mid-level to Senior Associate or Special Counsel with solid defense litigation experience to join its client's Miami or Fort Lauderdale office(s). This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice. Candidates should have a strong litigation background and a willingness to work in-office as needed (hybrid schedule). Required experience Minimum of 5 years defense litigation experience Proficient in taking depositions and trial experience a plus Ability to interact with clients, draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions Excellent research, writing and communication skills Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the Florida Courts is a must. Must be licensed to practice in Florida Licensed to practice in other jurisdictions a plus.
