Our global Am Law 100 client is seeking a mid-level associate (3-5 years of experience) with experience in Life Sciences IP Litigation for their New York, Boston or D.C. offices.
Role purpose
Our client seeks an accomplished associate to join their New York office with 3-5 years of experience focused on representing innovator pharmaceutical and biotech companies in IP Litigation.
The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $435,000 depending on the candidate's JD year. They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes a discretionary bonus, paid leave, life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
Team
This individual will report directly to the New York, Boston, and Washington DC IP Litigation partners. The team also works closely with other partners, associates and staff both in the U.S. and abroad.
Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience from a major law representing innovator pharmaceutical and biotech companies in IP Litigation as well as excellent academic credentials and a Life Sciences background.
Minimum Requirements
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school.
Must be admitted, and in good standing, to the bar in the jurisdiction in which you will practice; or must provide written confirmation as to ability to become admitted in that State or District.
Preferred Requirements
Degree in chemistry or biology.
Experience in Hatch-Waxman and / or BPCIA litigation.
Analytical, research, and writing skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage your time effectively.
