Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our client's dynamic and well-established law firm in Miami.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to support a team of attorneys specializing in real estate transactions, providing essential administrative and legal support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, including document preparation, title and survey review, and closing coordination.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, closing binders, and correspondence.
- Manage deadlines and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate communications with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries as needed.
- Organize and maintain real estate transaction files, including digital and physical records.
- Assist with billing, time entry, and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in real estate law.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, closing processes, and related legal documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with e-filing and document recording is a plus.
