Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search has an exciting opportunity for an associate to join the Securities & Capital Markets Group in our client's New York office. Their cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. About You:
- You have 2-5 years of experience working for an AM Law 100 law firm in the areas of corporate, securities, capital markets and M&A, with strong transactional skills;
- You have significant experience working on debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting (prior experience with securitizations and aviation clients will be an asset);
- You have strong oral and written communication skills, and can work effectively as part of a team and independently;
- You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials, and you are admitted in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction (New York).
