WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Nursing Leadership: Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for the nursing staff, ensuring appropriate coverage for all shifts and offering direct coverage when needed.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, including identifying high-risk indicators, and document histories and assessments to support individualized treatment.
- Treatment Collaboration: Act as a core member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, participating in treatment planning sessions and facilitating care coordination.
- Medication Management: Oversee the generation and reconciliation of monthly medication administration records (MARs), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide nursing assessments, intervention services, and discharge planning, collaborating with the treatment team for holistic care.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with all state and federal licensing requirements, assist in quality reviews, and maintain regulatory standards for the program.
- Supervision & Competency: Directly supervise unit nursing staff, assessing their clinical competency, and assist in professional development through training and annual performance evaluations.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a dedicated nursing leader with a passion for substance use disorder treatment, skilled in both team collaboration and independent work.
Requirements:
- Education: RN Licensure required; BSN or greater degree preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in mental health/SUD program, ideally within acute or residential psychiatric care. Leadership experience required
- HR Administrative Experience: Experience in HR administration and staff scheduling.
- Infection Control Knowledge: Understanding of infection control practices.
- Certification: Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
