Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health is on a mission to revolutionize behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Our facility will provide inpatient and outpatient services and is scheduled to open in spring 2025 in Pawnee, Oklahoma!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of clients.
- Prescribe and administer medications in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Supervise nursing staff on dispensing operations as needed.
- Complete medical records and reports and provide necessary referrals to medical services and primary care providers.
- Coordinate patient care with the Primary Care Physician (PCP) or other physicians prescribing opiates or psychoactive medication.
- Participate in case planning and consultation with lead counselors, facility/executive directors, project directors, and medical directors as needed.
- Educate clients on treatment options and provide strength-based, empathetic care.
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate evaluation and management (e.g., cardiac arrest, respiratory distress).
- Additional duties may include participating in clinical/medical committees, providing education, and conducting quality reviews.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a driven, compassionate leader with a deep commitment to substance use disorder treatment and overall wellness.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Valid Professional License/Certification for the state in which duties are performed.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) preferred
- 2 years of experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health
- Knowledge of psychotropic medication administration and practice.
- Competency in behavioral health and addiction treatment
