Thrive Now Recovery Centers is partnering with Ascension Recovery Services and on a mission to revolutionize substance use disorder treatment. The Program Director will have oversight for our new 60-bed substance use disorder treatment center opening in Iowa City late spring 2025.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage day-to day operations and team so that the facility achieves its objectives in all of the following key performance areas:
- effective patient care outcomes
- appropriate fiscal management
- maintenance of licensure, accreditation and other regulatory criteria
- implementation of focused business development processes
- medical staff compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines
- With the direction of the Regional Executive Director, organize the day-to-day management and operation of the Facility through departmentalization, delegation and alignment of responsibilities to meet the facility’s patient care and business objectives.
- Guarantee prompt, thorough follow-up of any patient safety issues including system-issue corrections and proactive assessment of high-risk areas.
- Promote a foundation for, and a culture of diversity, equity, inclusiveness, transparency, and collaboration throughout facility. The end results will be high employee engagement, strong employee morale, as well as high patient, staff satisfaction that are continuously improving.
- Support recruitment and retention of the facility team including onboarding and offboarding, coaching, orientation, performance evaluations and educational planning of counseling staff
- Ensure team member maintenance of accurate and current records on each client according to the facility's procedure for client records
- Ensure team member adherence to the approved treatment schedule
- Ensure client rights are enforced as outlined in policy and procedure manual
- Complete incident investigations and summaries for regulatory agencies, as necessary
- Partner with senior leadership to review financial and non-financial reports to identify trends and opportunities; create innovative solutions, manage the program/facility/salary budget
- Partner with Business Development team to identify and engage referral sources
- Engage in community events to further establish relationships and reinforce the Program commitment to the area
WHO YOU ARE:
- The Program Director must have management experience, in healthcare, experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience in human services
- 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Understanding of finance and performance management principles
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Must have or, within 30 days from hire, be able to obtain First Aid and CPR card
