Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor both onshore and offshore accounting teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drive financial accuracy by overseeing the general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Manage complex accounting projects, collaborating with finance and other departments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and preparing necessary documentation for auditors.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management, influencing key business decisions.
- Develop and implement internal controls to minimize financial risks.
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting function.
In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA
- 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
