What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vaccine Administrator - PRN position at Ascension?
What You Will Do
Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of clinical staff.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
- Provide vaccine management including ordering and monitoring vaccine usage/wastage, and facilitating the maintenance of the vaccines.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred. - Medical Assistant preferred.
- Registered Nurse preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
