**The Role of the Event Planning Specialist**
In this critical role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional internal events that align with our organizational goals and values. As an Event Planning Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and will manage all aspects of event planning, from conception to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event strategies that enhance associate engagement and connection
- Collaborate with various departments to effectively promote events to associates and other attendees
- Maintain accurate records of event details, including guest lists, agendas, and follow-up actions
Requirements
- 5 years of experience planning various event types, including virtual meetings, C-level executive conferences; internal meetings and events; networking receptions; and associate appreciation initiatives
- Proven ability to take direction and translate organizational goals into effective, engaging internal events
- Able to work a flexible schedule with occasional evenings/weekends and approximately 20% travel
