The Senior Corporate Counsel supports designated business lines within Ascensus by providing legal counsel to executives and associates across Ascensus’ business units and shared services functions. This role partners closely with Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Information Security to identify and mitigate risk while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on legal, regulatory, legislative, compliance, and business issues.
- Draft, negotiate, review, and interpret various contracts and other legal documents between Ascensus and its clients, partners, vendors, and other third parties.
- Handle other day-to-day legal issues arising in a growing and complex business including disputes and litigation, employment, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Support Ascensus’s culture by demonstrating our core values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always in all your actions.
- Understand Ascensus’ businesses and give practical advice to business leaders.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with business leaders, clients, prospects, business partners, and others.

- Identify, escalate, and resolve issues before they become obstacles.
