This administrator-level position will assist the Headmaster in overseeing and executing the cultural mission of the school and involving all aspects of student life. As such, assigned tasks and projects will vary depending on campus needs and individual strengths and experience. The successful candidate will have experience in classical K-12 pedagogy and curriculum, coaching and mentoring teachers, and communicating the purpose of classical education to diverse audiences.

Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree or higher preferred
- Experience in classical liberal arts education and school leadership
- Ability to mediate difficult situations
- Thorough understanding of classical pedagogy and philosophy
- Exceptional organizational skills and experienced management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate information and issues
- Commitment to Ascent Classical Academies' dual mission and vision, to operate excellent classical schools that educate children in virtue and liberty, and to strive to make classical education as accessible as possible

- Overseeing extra-curricular (non-athletic) programs
- Monitoring classroom management and in-class student discipline
- Planning and facilitating after school activities (dances, clubs, etc.)
- Mentoring teachers in classroom management and discipline
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing professional development
- Conducting teacher observations and evaluations
