We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator in our Centralized Services department. Primary Job Duties/Functions The Centralized Services Administrator has a hybrid role, balancing proactive projects and reactive ticket management in collaboration with System Administrators. This role oversees Office 365 projects, manages onboarding and offboarding processes, responds to and resolves tickets, and creates thorough documentation to support other departments and team members. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide expert administration and deployment support for Microsoft/Office 365 services, including Email, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, and related security solutions.
- Collaborate with the planning, designing, and implementing on-premises and cloud-based backup services.
- Monitor and maintain client backups, ensuring compliance with internal documentation standards.
- Deploy and align managed services to ensure consistent delivery to customers.
- Conduct client and service onboarding and offboarding following standard processes. This includes deploying, maintaining, and removing MSP tool agents and hardware as needed.
- Create, import, and maintain detailed documentation for Helpdesk technicians supporting managed systems.
- Develop documentation outlining best practices for deployment and alignment.
- Remote and On-site deployment, support, and troubleshooting of server components, such as:
- Dell/HP physical Servers
- Solo and clustered Hypervisors and Hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Windows Server, including Active Directory and Group Policies, File and Print Services, SQL, Exchange, RDS
- Ensures OS and third-party patching is maintained.
- Advanced troubleshooting of incidents regarding Line of Business Applications following the documented procedures or escalating to the vendor where applicable.
- Cloud Services, including Office 365, Azure AD, Azure Cloud computing, G-Suite, Barracuda Email Security, and alternate email filtering
- Work with Network Administrators to implement solutions with NPS, such as VPN, RDS, NAC, and RDS while implementing MFA.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in IT service management, administration, or support, preferably in a Managed Services Provider environment.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification.
- Proficiency in Office 365 deployment and administration.
- Hands-on experience with Entra ID/Intune deployment and administration.
- Strong endpoint management skills.
- Expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with hypervisors like Hyper-V, Scale (KVM), and VMware.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong time management skills.
- Basic PowerShell scripting experience.
- Familiarity with the ConnectWise product stack.
- Experience in supporting Exchange 2016 or newer server versions.
