The Role
Ascent is seeking a Business Analyst who is passionate about data-driven decision-making, enhancing user experiences, and optimizing business processes. The Business Analyst is instrumental in analyzing business needs and translating them into technical requirements for our in-house applications, bridging the gap between our line-of-business teams and supporting technology solutions. Collaborating with key stakeholders, the Business Analyst will identify improvements to our application base critical to maintaining Ascent's competitive edge in the marketplace.
The Work
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product management and onshore / offshore development teams to ensure alignment with our organizational goals.
- Evaluate our current lending industry business processes, identify pain points, and define opportunities for improvement through data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
- Collect detailed functional and non-functional requirements from users, documenting clearly for application development.
- Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that delivered improvements meet defined requirements.
- Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories outlining system functionality, features, and user interface specifications.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key deliverables.
- Support the organization through transitions and help drive the successful adoption of new processes or systems.

The Pay
Salary range is $80,000-$95,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus of 15% per year
