The Role
As a Senior Underwriting Analyst at Ascent, you will play a crucial role in evaluating financial risks and ensuring adherence to sound credit practices. This position demands well-informed credit assessments through detailed analysis and close review of the Sponsor's current and past financial profile. Your efforts will help consistently document a package for further internal Underwriting review, including Loan Committee.
The Work
- Perform detailed credit analysis, evaluating the financial profiles of Sponsors.
- Consult with both internal and external sources regarding Sponsor applications.
- Provide consistent and accurate updates to both peers and your supervisor.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry-specific factors.
- Recommend and implement best practices as part of Ascent"s dedication to creating an industry-leading customer experience.
- Work efficiently under minimum supervision.
- Pay close attention to detail and consistency in analysis and findings presentation format.
- Advise and / or review peer work product as a quality control.
Your Skills and Experience
The Pay
Salary range is $120,000-$140,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus of 15 % per year
