The CAD/BIM Designer I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the creation of digital design models, drawings, and documentation using CAD and BIM software. This role involves assisting senior designers and engineers by preparing accurate and detailed drawings that comply with project specifications and standards. The CAD/BIM Designer I works on various projects, developing foundational skills in CAD and BIM technology while contributing to the successful completion of design projects.

- Assist in the development of 2D and 3D models, drawings, and layouts using CAD and BIM software according to project specifications and standards.
- Prepare basic construction documents, plans, and details under the guidance of senior designers and engineers.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements, making adjustments to drawings as needed.
- Maintain and update project files, ensuring that all digital models and drawings are organized and accessible for team members.
- Conduct quality control checks on own work to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards before submitting for review.
- Update and revise drawings and models based on feedback from senior team members or project stakeholders.
- Follow established CAD/BIM standards and protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all project deliverables.
- Support senior CAD/BIM designers with basic technical tasks, including importing and exporting files and assisting with software troubleshooting.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Required
- Associate’s degree or certification in CAD, BIM, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in CAD/BIM design or relevant internship experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit software.
