About You 


We are seeking a full-time, skilled Bike Shop Manager and Bike Technician who are passionate about cycling and proficient in all aspects of bike maintenance and repair. You should be eager to stay updated with the latest cycling products and industry trends, and committed to delivering exceptional service. We value team members who build and maintain a base of loyal, like-minded enthusiasts who see our shop as a prime resource for both top-tier equipment and dependable advice. 


About the Role 


As a Bike Shop Manager or Technician, you will guide customers through the service process at our counter—from recommending necessary services, filling out and filing paperwork, to scheduling and executing services to the highest standards. 


Skills & Qualifications 


  • Strong passion for cycling and the outdoors. 
  • Experience in retail sales of bikes, cycling gear, and accessories. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to interact with all customers in a friendly, community-focused manner. 
  • Well-versed in bike brands, gear, customer preferences, and industry trends. 
  • Preferably at least one year of experience in using tools and machines for bike tuning, fitting, and building. 
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Efficient organizational skills to keep work flowing smoothly and punctually. 
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively. 


Responsibilities 


  • Elevate guest experiences by working with our motivated team, exceeding expectations through quick and efficient problem-solving. 
  • Take ownership of the technical/build process in the shop from start to finish, including updating customers about progress and deadlines. 
  • Ensure all tasks in the service shop (fitting, tunes, repairs, etc.) are completed properly and on time, maintaining consistency and high quality. 
  • Provide reliable, unbiased advice during service check-ins and product selection, serving as a knowledgeable resource for customers. 
  • Enhance store efficiency through effective time management and decision-making. 
  • Complete work orders accurately and prioritize them efficiently. 
  • Participate in required product clinics and technical training with an eagerness to learn. 


Additional Information 


  • Must be available to work weekends and some holidays. 
  • This is a full-time position located at our shop in Interbay/Magnolia. 
  • The responsibilities listed are not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, and roles may evolve to reflect the company’s growth and changes.
