Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are looking for a CNC Equipment and Facility Maintenance Technician. This position is primarily responsible for day-to-day preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration activities on a variety of CNC machinery and equipment. Additional responsibilities include facilities maintenance and continuous improvement activities throughout the organization.
This position is on-site (not remote or hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon location and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems commonly found on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the facility. Improve the working environment of your coworkers by adding or changing facility services or equipment.
- Assist in the delivery, placement, and installation of new capital equipment in the facility. Coordinate OEM technicians and third-party contractors as needed.
- Ensure that all equipment is in a safe condition to operate. Verify that all equipment that is down for repair or in an unsafe condition is locked-out and tagged-out.
- Use factory documentation, third party resources, and technical experience to troubleshoot and replace faulty components or parts, and source replacements.
- Perform day-to-day preventative maintenance activities on a wide variety of equipment ranging from HVAC units to complex standalone machinery.
- Respond quickly to machine failures or conditions that are resulting in a loss of productivity.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS : To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
