Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. The selected candidate will prepare, develop, and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. The Master Scheduler will collaborate with the Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, NPI Program Managers, and Purchasing departments to develop optimal strategies to meet customer objectives.
This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin headquarters and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include, but not limited to the following:
- Prepares and updates the master production schedule within the ERP system (Epicor).
- Reviews scheduled capacity and works with production to resolve constraints.
- Interacts with all production departments to expedite/de-expedite customer requirements.
- Communicates schedule improvements/delays to customer service department.
- Reports expected work order completion by day, week, month.
- Analyzes standard run time against actual run time.
- Responsible for strategically managing all Work in Progress.
- Ensures on-time deliveries for all acknowledged and confirmed purchase orders.
- Focal point for capacity planning and gatekeeper for scheduling new orders.
- Helps implement and owns relevant policies and procedures.
- Communicates discrepancies and potential schedule misses to customer service.
- Supports the overall health and improvement of the ERP system.
- Supports MRB process with appropriate responses to issues with internal and supplier quality.
- Supports NPD/SMU launches with planning and execution of pilot run and production flow decisions and schedulings
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering.
- 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean concepts and kanban replenishment techniques such as complex mixed model flow, supermarkets, level loading, pull signals, min-max levels, Vendor Managed Inventory is preferred.
- Ability to perform complex problem solving
- Must have strong analytical, statistical and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Word is required.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience working with lean improvement teams in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and production.
- Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Advanced knowledge of Epicor ERP preferred (or equivalent advanced knowledge of a comparable ERP software required)

- $65,000 to $100,000 per year DOE
