We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lathe Machinist to join our Dallas Team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines for quick-turn prototypes and low / mid-volume production parts.
The weekend schedule will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 : 30 p.m.
This position is on-site and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
CNC Setup and Operation : Teach tools, load programs, and set / adjust work / tool offsets on Haas, Fanuc, and Okuma controls.
Precision Work : Read prints and inspect parts for conformance to typically / - .005 tolerance.
Quality Assurance : Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
Qualifications :
Skills and Experience : Trade school and / or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Technical Aptitude : Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Personal Attributes : Honest, dependable, self-starter, flexible, and detail-oriented. Enjoys fast-paced, rapidly changing environments. Quality-oriented team player.
Physical Requirements : Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs continuously.
Working Conditions :
Work is performed in a machine shop environment.
Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
