What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Anesthesia Testing RN position at Ascentist Healthcare?

Our PAT RNs work with the healthcare team and play a crucial role in ensuring patients are physically and emotionally prepared for their surgeries or procedures.
The PAT nurse :
- Coordinates pre-operative patient care alongside the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
- Communicates with physicians regarding patient clinical changes, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic findings, abnormal results, and symptoms.
- Gathers pertinent information per patient and procedure for clearances among facilities.
- Collaborates with various departments and colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care and smooth patient flow.

Job : Full-Time Day Shift
Salary : $33-$43 / hour

Supplemental Pay : Bonus opportunities, Holiday pay
License / Certification : Active KS RN license, BLS, and ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
Experience : Inpatient / acute care (1 year preferred)
