What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Ascentria Care Alliance?
The Program Coordinator provides leadership, training, onboarding and oversight to Case Workers in a large independent living program for adults with developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position also works collaboratively with administrative staff to reconcile all corporate accounts related to the program’s Rep Payee supports. In the absence of the Program Manager, The Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all program operations and supports are delivered in a manner compliant with agency and funder policies and procedures.
** This is a supervisory position for a large DD funded program**

Essential responsibilities
· Provide assistance to Program Manager with tasks as assigned.
· Perform all duties in the absence of the Program Manager.
· Coach, train and assist Case Worker I and Case Worker II as they provide training, modeling and assistance in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and health maintenance in order to enhance skill acquisition to gain or maintain independent living to program participants/clients. These may include but are not limited to; meal preparation and nutrition, apartment maintenance, exercise, socialization, medical appointments, and utilizing public transportation/ADA.
· Provide direct supervision and staff coaching to part-time program staff.
· Initiates regular updates and communication regarding the program with Program Manager, Ascentria Administration, and DDS staff.
· Provide creative problem solving alternatives in difficult and crisis orientated situations
· Ensure the program administrative tasks such as maintaining supplies according to budget and compliance with record keeping are completed · Ability to provide on-call coverage and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
· Assist individuals when moving from one location to another. This may include but is not limited to: moving furniture and/or boxes and using personal vehicle to transport client personal belongings.
· Assists in obtaining public services to support independence such as, but not limited to: Social Security, Mass Health, ADA transportation, food stamps, and fuel assistance.
· Provide effective leadership to program staff and deliver quality services to individuals served.
· Manage, monitor and audit all rep payee accounts and financial records. This includes oversight of all money management related supports and documentation.
· Reconciles all Corporate Rep Payee accounts on a monthly basis and regularly communicates with Agency Treasury Department
· Ensures compliance of all Social Security expectations and DDS regulations related to Organizational Rep Payee
· Monitor and maintain program database.
· Assist with PQI efforts and implementation of outcome measures which assesses programmatic impact on client’s lives
· Provide direct support to individuals in accordance with program procedures and policies.
· Attend and participate in ISP, RISK, Staff and Team meetings as required.
· Maintain cooperative relationships with funders and partner providers while maintaining a positive presence with all collaterals such as Social Security, DTA, Mental health Clinics, and other community resources
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Licensed or eligible to be licensed by ASWB according to education and experience level (LICSW, LCSW, LSW or LSWA) within 6 months of being hired strongly preferred
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the human service field required; preferred in a community-based setting.
· Minimum of 1 year management/supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of DDS ISP Process preferred.
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting skills preferred
· Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership and supervision to staff while being supportive and positive.
· Ability to effectively delegate tasks, train staff, and recognize achievements of both staff and individuals served.
· Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
· Ability to manage conflict, stress, and respond to changing environments.
· Demonstrated ability and experience with managing crisis situations.
· Ability to implement treatment plans and set limits and manage client behaviors.
· Ability to provide on-call coverage and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.

· Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required to transport clients throughout the community in personal vehicle and/or Ascentria vehicles.
· Strong computer, Microsoft Office skills required.
