Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and secure databases, ensuring system integrity, backups, and performance optimization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for database operations and troubleshooting.
- Configure and resolve equipment, software, and network issues, developing system setups to prevent disruptions.
- Implement security measures to control access and protect data.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users who utilize system databases.
- Perform routine maintenance on servers, desktops, and peripherals, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and system configurations.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a professional office setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 to support production control functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate and resolve technical and logistical issues.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Science, or Technology Management.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years experience in a related IT field.
- Completion of iNFADS (Internet Naval Facilities Assets Data Store) training within 90 days of hire.
- NAVFAC Real Property Law Course (recommended for real estate-related database entries).
- Real Estate and Asset Management training (recommended for effective management of Marine Corps real estate data).
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) to obtain required access for this position.
