The IT Business Analyst (ITBA) has the overall responsibility of enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs.
Responsibilities
- The ITBA will work with business lines to document and score functional business requirements and technical business requirements.
- The ITBA will utilize functional business requirement and technical business requirement scoring to assist with solution selections.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years in Business Analyst role
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including Alaska, is preferred
- Applicants must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States and must have their employment eligibility verified by a completed Form I-9.
- IIBA Level 1 (CCBA) accredited, or with experience of all BABOK knowledge areas:
o Elicitation and collaboration
o Business analysis planning and monitoring
o Requirements lifecycle management
o Strategy analysis (incl. BPM)
o Requirements analysis and definition
o Solution evaluation
- IIBA Level 2 (CBAP) accreditation preferred
- Project management experience, and accreditation
- Broad understanding and appreciation of the IT technology deployed within enterprise and field applications
