Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials from delivery trucks or material handling equipment.
- Inspect, sort, or weigh received materials to verify quantities against delivery tickets or invoices.
- Record and report discrepancies in received quantities to assigned government personnel.
- Accurately input material receipts into the warehouse database and determine proper storage locations.
- Stow materials in designated warehouse locations and update records accordingly.
- Issue materials upon receipt of approved requests or work orders, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with government personnel.
- Conduct warehouse material inventories as per scheduled requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 and MCO 5100.19F licensing requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness by immediately cleaning spills and reporting hazardous spills to the government warehouse supervisor.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance, including emptying trash, sweeping floors, and removing packing materials.
- Must be qualified and licensed to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 and MCO 5100.19F.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a professional office setting.
- Education: Certification in Supply Management or a related field.
- Experience: In lieu of certification, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply clerical work, supply support, inventory control, or computer operations support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and warehouse inventory management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate and resolve logistical or inventory-related issues.
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) for required access.
