Detailed Job Description:
Expert level experience with In Place Upgrades, Windows 10 to Windows 11, and Windows 11 23H2 to 24H2.
This expertise can be based on Feature Updates, standard in-place updates, or setup.
Expert level experience with Windows 11 upgrades: Roll back log files, incompatible OS log file reading/parsing.
- Advanced level experience with ConfigMgr Current Branch Software deployment.
- Expert level experience with OSD troubleshooting: Log files, content download, application and package installs.
- Expert level experience with driver packaging: PnP driver installs/uninstalls, removals, and remediation of incompatible drivers related to OS upgrades.
The primary focus is on the first two items, emphasizing Windows 11 upgrades rather than Config Mgr.
This should help us target a role that is less Config Mgr-centric maintenance.
