What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Counter Associate position at ASCO Equipment?
ASCO Abilene has an opening for Rental Counter Customer Service. Your duties here at ASCO will include all customer service operations related to the rental of all the equipment lines carried by ASCO, as well as sales of our in-store inventory. You will be working closely with customers over the counter and on the phone. You will be working closely and assisting the Outside Rental Salesman. You will be responsible for completion of administrative duties relating to rental transactions and sales, and inventory control for the Rental Department.
Qualifications:
- An interest and background in heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication required.
- Excellent excel knowledge and use
- Positive, friendly, outgoing attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and grow with needs of company.

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Job allows employee to vary physical position often. Combined standing and walking up to 8-10 hours a day. Employee will lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and will bend, squat, kneel climb, push, twist and reach above shoulder level often. Work is 70% inside and 30% outside.
